The RCA is working with the LHINs to demonstrate the value for money of Assess & Restore projects and to assess whether they can be scaled up across the province.

This evaluation will be shared with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, which funded the projects over three years.

A list of indicators has been compiled for the evaluation, including: Emergency Department diversion, faster admission to bedded rehab (if needed), shorter length of stay and better outcomes.

The RCA is also hosting a provincial forum on June 21 to provide an opportunity for projects to share their successes and to showcase projects with positive outcomes that have the potential for province-wide application.
