The RCA continues to support the LHINs in implementing the Ministry's Assess & Restore Guideline. Work is focused on the following areas:
- Supporting Knowledge Exchange: To support knowledge exchange, the RCA has been facilitating regular meetings of organizations that are implementing similar 2016/17 Assess & Restore projects. These pan-LHIN "clusters" meet quarterly to share their learnings, successes and challenges.
- Identifying Opportunities for Spread: The RCA has prepared a final report for the MOHLTC on the 2015/16 Assess & Restore projects. The report identifies key findings and projects that provide opportunities for spread.
- Measuring Quality of Life: Assess & Restore projects have struggled with how best to measure their impact on quality of life. An RCA working group reviewed the available tools and recommended that functional measure be used as a proxy.
