To help support the future of care, the RCA has initiated a refresh of its 2015 Capacity Planning Framework with recommendations that support framework use at the Ontario Health (OH) Region level.

The refresh builds upon capacity planning activities designed to support specialized rehab and the implementation of OH Integrated Clinical Pathways. These include collecting data on rehab volumes for specific conditions, (e.g. amputee and pulmonary rehab populations) to inform hub and spoke locations and assess capacity needs at both provincial and regional/local levels.
