The RCA is undertaking a major update to its Total Joint Replacement (TJR) Best Practice Framework, focused on ensuring it continues to reflect the latest evidence for rehabilitative care following hip and knee replacement surgeries.

A comprehensive literature review is currently underway, with invaluable assistance from members of the TJR Best Practices Update Working Group. When the review is complete, findings will be compared with the existing framework to identify gaps and areas needing refinement.

This work reflects our continued commitment to evidence-based best practices and improving rehabilitative care pathways for patients undergoing total joint replacement. Release of the updated framework is tentatively planned for Winter 2026.
