The RCA continues to advance resources to support rehabilitative care capacity planning across Ontario.

Earlier this year, the RCA released an updated Rehabilitative Care Capacity Planning Framework  designed to support planning decisions by providing a structured approach to assessing rehabilitative care needs and capacity requirements across the continuum of care.

Since its release, the RCA has been working to increase awareness and support implementation of the framework through presentations and engagement with partners across the province. In addition, a Capacity Planning Implementation Workbook has been developed to help organizations apply the framework within their local planning processes.

The RCA has also released a Rehabilitative Care Compendium: Resource to Support Capacity Planning to complement the framework by providing additional information and resources to support rehabilitative care planning activities.
