Sandro Serino
Chief, Health System Planning, Performance and Accountability, Ontario Hospital Association
Sandro Serino is a healthcare executive with over 14 years of experience in various sectors, including hospitals, government, advocacy, strategy, clinical research, and academia. He has a strong focus on funding reform, performance management, and health informatics.
This year, Sandro re-joined the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) as Chief of Health System Planning, Performance and Accountability, after a rewarding five years at the Hospital for Sick Children. In his current role, he leads efforts to analyze hospital performance and advocate for effective policies around funding and sustainability.
In addition to his various roles within the Ontario Health System, he was a board member for the Greater Toronto Area Chapter of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) and the Etobicoke Children’s Centre (now Lumenus). He also taught at George Brown College, where he played a key role in inspiring and developing future leaders in healthcare.
Rebecca Ho
Senior Consultant, Health System Planning, Performance and Accountability, Ontario Hospital Association
Rebecca Ho is a versatile and solution-oriented consultant at the OHA, where she leverages her engineering background to tackle complex challenges on behalf of members. She is a collaborative and strategic health leader with over 18 years of experience in the public and private sectors – highly proficient at stakeholder engagement and management of multiple complex projects, with expertise from across sectors.
Prior to joining the OHA, Rebecca worked at the Rehabilitative Care Alliance, where she brought a collaborative approach to numerous projects in areas such as capacity planning, system evaluation, and health informatics.
Rebecca is deeply passionate about addressing health inequities and is dedicated to making a positive difference in her community. She is proudly serving as Chair of the Board of the South Riverdale Community Health Centre, where she continues to advocate for better access to care for underserved populations. Her previous service on the Board of Jessie’s Centre also reflects her commitment to improving healthcare and social outcomes for vulnerable groups.
